I caught this nice 15 inch 'bow before getting the camera set up. I actually
goofed up and missed a 20 inch fish by pulling the lure away. Oh well.

This hole is wide, and smooth. It shallows out after coming over a natural
'dam' into a deep pool. I usually scout the hole from above. Very easy
to be seen that high though. |

Is this beautiful or what? Catching fish or not the scenic surroundings
always make it a worthwhile trip. The sound of the water, the rhodedendron,
pines and rugged banks. Soothing. |

This hole is fed by a fast narrow shoot and opens to a wide deep hole.
The rocks extend at the back to produce a second hole which may also hold
fish. |
