After doing all I could with the fly rod I went to the spinning outfit.
I use it more but it is rewarding to get fish on the fly. These fish will
bend a rod. |

No matter the size these fish fight all the way to the rod. This fish
is not caught yet and care is required to avoid a break off or self release
as they try every trick. |

And there is another nice wild rainbow trout. I was very pleased with
the camera and the remote function. When alone you usually can not get
these shots. |

Hooked up again. This hole is usually productive but the water level had
finally risen and the cooler temps made the fish happy and hungry. |

there it is, smallish but still a load of fun on light tackle. I am staying
low in part to stay in frame but I would be doing the same if not shooting.

I moved to another hole up the creek. I had condensation on the lens as
it was cool and there was some rain. It was overcast. This is also a benefit
for the angler. |
