Securing the rod rack I use the bungie to clip around the PVC and it holds tight. Quick attach and remove.	Securing rudder for travel I started doing this to keep the rudder stationary while blasting down to Florida for weekend trips. Seriously, it just isolates the rudder so it is not moving around as you travle.
