Turtle Beach 07 A different manatee. After leaving Turtle Beach I went to Long Boat Pass...	Turtle Beach 08 I saw this huge manatee as I was just outside the pass by the beach jetty.	Turtle Beach 09 This is an attempt to get an underwater shot of the manatee but I get a baitfish instead. The manatee may be the dark spot on the right.
Turtle Beach 10 A shot of the lingering manatee as it gets a breath.	Turtle Beach 11 Another shot of the manatee. This shows the vulnerbility to power craft. In the back is a parachute ride. Many boats were zooming within 20 yards of the manatee heading up the pass.	Turtle Beach 12 After I made it (somehow) back through Long Boat Pass I headed for the flats across the ICW.
